Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actor, singer and music producer. Her family was home-schooled by her mom and her father, in USA. Her childhood was filled with racist taunts and being made to feel unwelcome. In the ninth grade, after a school audition where she received high praise for her voice and acoustics, she began to gain confidence. She not only gained confidence because of the experience and gained experience, but also changed her the direction of her career. She attended the New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. When she was 23, she began her career making her debut on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films in You've got Mail. But her biggest break came when she appeared in the part in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway production of Spamalot receiving not just her the Tony Award for her performance but also great critical acclaim. In the following year she was made the lead character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. She is known as a performer and released her own single and an extended play. She has also spoken out in support of LGBT concerns.
